I’ve ordered from this company a few times. I once ordered an item I decided to return. I didn’t have any problems with customer service. They have sales on a regular basis but the prices are seldom the best available so I don’t order from them too often. They have %off deals in email coupons but not too frequently. Overall I’m satisfied and will continue to order from them.

Altrec did have a discount program for writing reviews. I think it was 20% off non sale items.

I used it a few times. Wrote a review and within 24 hours there would be a discount applied at checkout. No exclusions except s/h.

I'm not sure if they still offer this as I couldn't find the info on their website. I know the last time I ordered from them it wasn't easy to find the info either but they still did the review discount.

Their return policy isn't quite as good as backcountry, but better than most.

My only complaint would be that their selection of products is somewhat limited compared to some others.
