I've done my last exam and now summer is here and I want to fish with a tenkara rod! I've boiled my choices down to:
Iwana 12' and
Amago
I'm not sure exactly what I'll be fishing (sorry for that, I know that it makes the whole question even harder to answer), but I have plans to fish in the Swedish tundra and also in lakes and streams in the forest. The fish that I'll target will be grayling, trout and charr in the tundra and anything I can find in the lakes and streams.
One river has set a minimum length of about 40 cm (ca 16") for grayling and trout so I guess that's what the size of fish I'll target.
Is the extra length of the Amago good to have?
