This stove would rate higher if it wasn’t so heavy! At 8.8 ounces and $30, it does an otherwise good job.
What I like:
Nice heat adjustment capability
Integrated ignition / starter
Compact, folds up nicely
Price is typically $30
What I didn’t like:
At 8.8 oz (measured vs. 6.5 advertised) Appears to be made with cast parts
Holds heat for some time after you shut it off
When compared to many of the other canister stoves around 3-5 oz, this does a reasonable job except for the extra weight and heat hang time. If $’s are tight and you can handle the extra 4 oz, then this might be a good buy for you.
