Gear Lists in your forum profile

You can now associate a gear list with your forum profile, so that others may download and view it as well.

You can upload your gear list by clicking on the “Change My Profile” link in the forums section.

It should be in PDF format so that it can be shared with anyone regardless of platform.

If you don’t have a PDF writer, you can create a PDF from any document type (e.g., MS Word, MS Excel) by downloading the FREE Primo PDF Writer. After it’s installed, you can print to PRIMOPDF and voila, out comes a PDF!

There are also a few online free PDF conversion utilities, do a Google search for “Online PDF Free”.

Eventually, these gear lists will be linked up with the Gear Checklists page at BPL.

There is also the ability on your Change My Profile page to give your gear list a “text title”. When we get the user gear list archive set up, this may be valuable for others for browsing through lists.
