I like this compass. It works. It is cute (comes in blue or green). Just a few snags:
1. If you drop the compass on a hard floor, parts go flying – well, I guess just the bezel, and only often.
2. A velcro strap is included. However, the slot the strap goes through IS a clip, fixed open on one side. Granted, a lip should prevent the strap from exiting, if I trust it. I was able to attach a loop of thin cord (2 mm) through a hole in the clip.
3. The plastic face might scratch over time. I fold the strap over it, holding everything in place with a rubber band.

If I were to buy a wrist compass again, I’d consider Suunto’s M-9, though not superlight (1.2 oz). Its suggested retail appears to be $30; Froogle found it for $22 at http://www.nwbackpack.com/products/suunto_m-9_wrist_compass.php.
