Here’s a little overnight I did with a base pack weight of 6.5 lbs (sans food & water). Took the photos with my cell phone camera.
Sperry Peak.
This is the valley I had just hiked up.
Heading over the pass.
Other side of the pass.
Vesper Peak. The path is nearly a center line from where I’m standing straight up to the summit.
Alpine meadows.
Nearby peak (not sure of the name, though).
Taken from the summit of Sperry Peak, this is Copper Lake on the back side of Big Four Mountain (to the right). In the background are Three Fingers and Whitehorse Mtns.
Sperry in the foreground with Glacier Peak in the center background.
Surrounding view looking toward the Monte Cristo range.
More surrounding views.
Spada Lake reservoir.
Me.
Moonrise.
Sunset with Mt. Pilchuck on the left.
Sunset again with Three Fingers and Whitehorse Mtns to the right, respectively.
The lights of Lake Stevens (left) and Everett (right).
