New cottage manufacturer

Got an email from someone who has just gone into manufacturing UL hammocks, a synthetic quilt, and tarps, with a pack still in pre-release. He has a hybrid hammock tarp with a Cuben middle and silnylon on the lower sides. The light hammock is longer than a Nano and is available as a single layer at 8 oz. or a double layer at 12 oz. I have seen none of this gear in person, and I'm not connected in any way to this vendor. I had sent a PM to him at HF about a month ago inquiring about a used DIY tarp that he had.

8 ounces for a CF hammock?

I am guessing that includes full suspension gear.

Myself and others have used CF hammocks that are under 2.50 ounces and with full suspension gear within the 6oz range.

The fellow who makes these needs more information on his website.
