I’m thinking of maybe a Mexican volcano in the future. I’m wondering about the clothes bag. Though I don’t have weights (I don’t have all the stuff yet). This is what I’m thinking I might take. Please tell me what you think

Your gear list looks a little on the heavy side for Orizaba. I took a trip down to the Mexican Volcanoes last February.
If you’re going on the standard Routes for both Izta and Orizaba
Worn on Orizaba Summit Day
Bottoms:
Icebreaker 200 fine Long Underwear
Patagonia Dimension Pants
Top:
Lightweight Merino Wool Zipneck
Rab Vapour Trail Shirt(worn to 16K)
Patagonia Dimension Jacket(worn to summit)
Head:
REI Polartec Wind Pro
Hands:
Liner Gloves
BD Ice Gloves
In the pack:
Extra Warm Hat
Marmot Belay Parka(put this on at the top when we stopped moving and on the way down)
I was very happy with this system and wore even less on Izta
We did not need crampons or ice axes(just poles) for Izta
I also wore single boots(La Sportiva K4S) as did my climbing partner(La Sportiva Nepal Extreme). Plastics are overkill unless you get cold feet easily. You’ll never be out more than a day as Orizaba is a day hike to the summit from the hut(where you get dropped off by 4×4 service), and we also did Izta in a day from the trailhead.
Hope this helps.
