I've had one for a few weeks now. It's ok if you expect no wind. This tarp is quite small–even when used with a Nano-7 hammock. Shape is best described as an off-set diamond–the ends you tie out to the ground are not directly across from each other. Although I haven't tried one, I believe a square 8×8' or 9×9' would be much better and also give some ground camping options–but obviously with some added weight.
