Member profiles & contact ability!

I read on one of the forums a while ago (Sorry – I can’t find the forum again) that BPL were looking at introducing a member profile feature, where members could have a page that described them, interests, photos etc so that others using the forums could get a better idea of who the other members in this online community were.

Is this still the case as it would be a nice feature. Also, the ability to communicate with other members without having to post your email address on the main forum pages.
