Lush, very dense forest in the Selkirk Mountain Range
I managed to talk my two Brother In-laws to go backpacking with me and my son. This was there first backpacking trip ever! Hard to believe.. We had a excellent time. We did about a mile of bouldering to Hunt Lake then fishing and cooking the Trout(Delicious)w/ sauteed Asparagus. The boys did a very good job on a very difficult trail. We got caught in a thunder storm later in the night but that only added to the "Newbies" adventure. Here's a few pictures:
Beautiful Priest Lake in the distance
A mile of hard bouldering to the lake
Hunt Lake
Son and cousin fishing with some sodas in the water
