As a guest of Sony, I had the opportunity to try the new A100 in Port Douglas ( tropical Queensland)
I am very impressed with the performance. The weather was cloudy, so most of the shots were taken in low light, nevertheless we got some great shots between the 40 of us (press and retailers). My pics were not amongst the best, but still I was pleased with them
This first shot was taken just before sunset on 400 ISO, provably at around 30th of a sec on 180mm according to the Exif data, no tripod but with the stabiliser on
This one was taken at around 1/8th of a sec (!) no tripod, 100 ISO
