we've laid plans to hike in the Aldo/Gila (Mimbres R) area in New Mexico this late spring, in most years this would be a great choice- however the Mimbres is currently at 400% of normal snowpack- sooooo probably time to look at a plan B
our hiking (Montana) doesn't really become available much before July so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
probably confined to the Western US due to travel time- trip length in the 5-7 day range
thanks in advance
