Dec 17, 2009 at 5:21 pm #1555009Nice photos guys. Yep I agree, summer is so far away and it is killing me. Though Point Reyes next month will lesson the pain.
Dec 17, 2009 at 7:52 pm #1555080No need to get blue about the season. Time for a snowshoe outing.

Higher up on Evolution Creek, the rocks that you normally walk across on are flooded. And more of the Range.

Here's some of an unnamed creek under Hawksbeak Peak just outside the Yosemite border. I think the local name is Rainbow Canyon.

Dec 20, 2009 at 1:57 am #1555565Jay,
There is a chance that'll I'll show at Point Reyes but it's a small one. I'll be taking off from the Bay sometime in late January most likely. I'm going cycle touring and hiking around Patagonia for a few months and then on to the CDT. I'm not "confirmed" for the trip either.
Cheers,

Grouse CreekHey Jack,I think alot of people will be doing the(Stealth 007)hiking method. The headcount is over 40+.
Dec 20, 2009 at 8:26 am #1555595Just a heads up that I've been ticketed before in Point Reyes for camping without a permit. But I guess that means that I now know how to get around 'em.
