    No, it can't survive a snowstorm or blizzard but I think it is just about as revolutionary as the Moment is. An enclosed tent for under a pound and in this case at about half a pound?

    I just think it is great that all of these designs keeping coming out. Look where we were 5 years ago to now. Can you imagine another 5 years? A free standing tent that weighs slightly over a pound?

    I wouldn't put it that way. The Plains Indians developed their designs (and lots of other plain dwelling peoples around the world) over a long period with lots of serious conditions over and over again until the teepee just naturally turned out to be the best shape for their needs. The laws of geometry always stay the same, so pyramids are a natural progression. For the materials that the Indians had available their designs were no less advanced than ours, perhaps even having a thing or two that we could still learn from.

    Sorry guys / gal (TN) – should have been more explicit. Yes, I agree that it is a really interesting design. However, Brett, you asked about the Moment in the snow and short of major thread drift, I thought we were still on the subject of the white stuff. My bad.
