Check out this new tripod if you can call it that coming to a market near you. It has some sort of suction design that allows you to stick your camera to almost any material including wood and round, flat, or cornered surfaces. All for only 6 oz. manufacturer weighed. What do you all think?
I wouldn’t even consider it with a DSLR, but of course that’s not what it’s meant for. Possibly with a point and shoot, but I think I’d be too afraid of it falling off. I watched a tripod leg collapse about 25 years ago and brand new camera smash to the street. I’ve never been the same since.
