I've been lazy about trip reports, so I'll do a round up in this thread. We've been trying new terrain's, seasons, and have gotten down to official ul base weight's this year so this might be fun for noobs.
This was our firs true 4th season trip. It's on Assateague Island National Seashore. The temps never got above freezing.
As you can tell we didn't hit that 10 pound goal, I carried around 16 #'s bpw, she was around 14. We also lugged a gallon of water each. For heavy loads these osprey's, and aether and aura are good sturdy packs.
