A few lucky folks already have them, because they accidentally went into inventory and on sale for a few hours this week!
But they are here, they are temporarily out of inventory, while we finish inspecting them, photographing them, and updating the product descriptions.
But here's a teaser photo, and the weight is around 8 oz.
They will be in stock next week.

Also, links to BGT are broken in the pad's store page.
Jul 23, 2009 at 3:24 pm #1516008My red one is only 8.8 oz.
Jul 23, 2009 at 3:26 pm #1516009Chris – my red one was 10.2 oz. I must have had some air in it ;)
Jul 23, 2009 at 3:29 pm #1516011Looks like you got the high end of the line and I got the low end. I'm not trading guys!
Jul 23, 2009 at 3:36 pm #1516015What country are these manufactured in?
Jul 23, 2009 at 3:50 pm #1516021@Chris – Never would I suggest that! Anyone want a 10oz Torso Lite? Too heavy ;)
Jul 24, 2009 at 7:33 am #1516157It seems that the last Torsolites were lighter than the previous one
Mine weights about 250 grams (9 oz) as you can check here

The question then Is what advantage had the new ones vs the older.
and what are the differences with previous torsolites?
It seems that is going to be less resistant than the older ones ¿?
Jul 24, 2009 at 7:42 am #1516159Mine did not have the larger 'brand' so I think you are definitely on to something here.
Maybe Ryan J can chime in?
Jul 26, 2009 at 10:53 am #1516604I must have missed all this…where can I find some specs? The picture looks as though it's pretty long – shorter version available?
Jul 29, 2009 at 9:37 am #1517320Can someone at BPL throw any light on the statement "R value 3-4"?
Does this mean it hasn't been tested and you are hedging your bets based on the old model or have I missed something?
Jul 30, 2009 at 1:43 am #1517536Reading the specs appears that the only real differency is the new colour and the claim that is made with a "stronger top and bottom fabric"
Ummm… honestly i expect more improvements….. :-(
Aug 4, 2009 at 9:33 am #1518643The new Torsolite is similar to the old one. New fabric, lower weight, and different colors.
Aug 5, 2009 at 4:18 am #1518832And the 3.0 – 4.0 R value?
Does this mean it varies across different pads due to small variations in thickness etc., or does it vary across the same pad in some, as yet undefined (and unlikely), manner?
Any thoughts/clarifications gratefully received!
Aug 8, 2009 at 10:16 pm #1519636Richard,
I'm sorry but I cannot comment on that scientifically.
