The StickPic is a simple trekking pole compatible camera mount. It is manufactured to fit your trekking pole specifically and slips over the tip of your pole. You can then attach your camera to the industry-standard "tripod mount", hold the trekking pole out in front of you and take self-portraits.

I've rated the device 4 out of 5 stars for it is lacking only slightly. The design of the mechanism is beautifully done and is of minimum weight. However, it will only fit on one trekking pole. If you own multiple sets you'll need multiple StickPics. Secondly, the device will occasionally slip and the camera will rotate upside down. I've had no problems with the camera falling all the way off however so this is only a minor annoyance.

The StickPic is as light a camera mount as you're going to find and allows a solo hiker to take self portraits in a snap.

A clever, well-engineered, and lightweight (0.35 ounces by my scale) gadget for mounting a camera on the tip of a trekking pole. Should work with any compact camera with a tripod socket.

Works very well for taking pictures (still and video) that include the picture taker in the action. 360 degree video pans with photographer at the center are a snap. I found myself looking for opportunities to use the StickPic.
