A couple of weekends ago, we went hiking/snowshoeing on South Rim Trail in Roxborough State park which is an awesome Colorado trail for hiking. However, horseback riding, backcountry camping, and mountain biking are not allowed because of the wildlife (e.g., mule deer) in the park. The park features anticlines that provide great views of geological formations.
Hello,
That is a very good trail, they have numerous trails in Roxborough State Park, I usually start in Indian Creek Equestrian trail system & cross over into the park, if you have time one day take the Roxborough trail system & hike down to the Colorado Trail, you can camp along the trail & its a very nice trail,
Stephen
