I am a big fan of their trail running shoes. REI has the Kalix boot on sale for $80. I do not know if, like the trail running shoes, the Kalix has the metal retractable spikes or not. Since we do not get the snow depths in the east that you folks do out west, this might be a workable item. Has anyone used this boot?
