-I am interested in purchasing these mitts, but am concerned with two questions.

1-I used the sizing chart and found that my hand width fits a size small, but my hand length is between a size small and a size medium. Should I round up to a size medium or down to a size small? How generous is the interior volume of the mitts?

2-My second concern is wether or not I can wear my possum down gloves under these when the mercury drops? Is the volume generous enough or will it effect the performance of the mitts? I like using the possum down gloves when temps are down below freezing and would love to be able to use them both alone and as a liner glove when needed!

-p.s., I just ordered a nano bivy and can not wait to take it hiking this winter. It is certainly lighter then my current breathable bivy. Hope to get the nano tarp also. I currently use a 4.5’x7.5′ tarp. I love tarps!

I have had no experience with the mitts, but I say, if you are going to layer your gloves under them, you may as well get a size medium, I dont think there is any problem if gloves are slightly to large, but if they are small then you have a problem

    Hi Jonathan,
My hand width is small, and length is between M and L. I ordered size medium and there is plenty of width with possum down-like gloves underneath. You’ll have more dexterity with a smaller mitt- if it’s not too small. Tough choice, I know. Why not write to BPL customer service?
