Duplicate the pack you have for 40% off or get a new one for 20% off!
Nov 19, 2005 at 5:40 pm #1345477will you get a discount if you buy two at once?
Nov 19, 2005 at 7:21 pm #1345486AnonymousGuestDon’t know. You mean if you aren’t a customer? Maybe at least one discount! You could by a pack then buy another. It does not say how long you had to be a customer.
Nov 20, 2005 at 11:14 am #1345530IIUC you need to be an exsiting customer with measurements on file. I don’t think the order two and get 40% off the second gambit is what he has in mind, but it doesn’t cost anything to ask.

As appealing as his packs are, I have a hard time sorting through all the options and features to begin to narrow down what might be right for me. I can’t, for example, even figure out what a “bayonet” is.
Nov 20, 2005 at 12:57 pm #1345535Rick,
I recently received his customer video. The Bayonet is pretty cool. Basically, instead of having just 2 stays, there are 4 stays with 2 on each side. The 2 on one side overlap a few inches and the top one can be removed so the frame can be shortened and the height of the pack along with it. In that way a big expedition pack can be shortened to a day pack. Hope that makes sense.

Nov 20, 2005 at 5:33 pm #1345558Thanks Bob, you got me 90% of the way there.
You’d think the website could at least give a hint ;-)
Nov 22, 2005 at 12:03 pm #1345708Thanks for the comments Rick. I was not aware the bayonet info was as minimal as it is. I have always depended on the video. I’ll get to work on that soon! In the meantime click on the UnLtd S-Sarc P&G that is on the UL thumbnail page:
http://www.mchalepacks.com/ultralight/detail/pop.htmIf you scroll down through the pics on that page you get to a point where the bayonet frame extensions are pulled out and are laying next to the pack and the pack is shortened. The stabilizer straps have been taken off the pack also.
Nov 24, 2005 at 9:37 am #1345848Thanks Dan, on behalf of the learning impaired :-)
p.s. “Letter from Dan” is a better read than 98% of blogs.
Nov 25, 2005 at 7:30 pm #1345895Thanks Rick!
