Not exactly. The coupon is actually for http://www.backcountryoutlet.com which I just found out while trying to use it at http://www.backcountry.com instead. Apparently, you have to use the outlet for the full 50% and then the coupon gets you less if an item is from backcountry.com. It's a long explanation….or at least that's what I got from one of their "chat" team. It is, however, a good deal if you can find something you want. Thanks for posting it.
Looks like the discount is off the original price too, not the currently marked down price. Ex. item was $100 but is in the outlet for $70. After applying the coupon it will be $50.
Sorry for the confusion. I received the email from them this morning and I'm not really sure why I left out the "outlet" part in the post. Brainfart maybe? I corrected it in the original post. Thanks for the correction.
