CDT Colorado – Where to go?

I'll be taking a 4-day trip along the CDT (or CT?) in Colorado this July. I'll be staying in Denver. Need suggestions. Did Mount Massive Wilderness area last year. Considering Collegiate Peaks or farther south in San Juans. Want to stay as close to the Divide as possible (although I'd rather not camp above treeline). Would love to experience colder weather (snow?), being from hot and humid Texas.

Ideas?

PS–Any tips on section-hiking the CDT as far as transportation goes? We'd rather take one car if possible.
