    @ouroboros

    This might seem like a no-brainer for others but I would like to know if one can get ahold of really high quality waterproof matches. I bought a pack of Colghan’s branded matches only to find out that they are really crappy (ie don’t light easily, matchsticks frequently snap, don’t stay lit when exposed to drafts). Aren’t there suppost to be “marine grade” waterproof matches that stay lit for a minimum of 15 seconds, are windproof, and waterproof (when lit)?

    Thanks,

    REI makes a storm proof match (under their brand) that work well. They do all of the above. They are long and about half of their length is sulfur.
