Show #38 – Get on the Trail! On this month’s show, we go all the way back to the year 2000, we talk bison vs woman, alligator is eaten, Squatch is tracked down in Iceland, POD recaps her jaunt on the Sierra High Route, spilling champagne is investigated, D-Low’s maps are stolen, the #MagsChallenge is issued, and we take a gander at “Mile … Mile and a Half.” We also swivel our headgear towards our Trail Show monthly donors, decipher a few missives from the Mailbag and Mags goes multi-use during the Gear Review.
And as always … Beer O’ Da Month (Terrapin Beer Co. beers thanks to Jeff Wood), Trail News with Mags, Trail O’ Da Month (Sierra High Route Redux), Jerky O’ Da Month (thanks to Chuck at mountainamericajerky.com) and Ask-A-Hiker with D-Low.

What I've learned this week, that if I listen to The Trail Show and other podcasts whilst treadmilling… 1) I get strange looks from other gym patrons when I try to stifle laughter every time I hear (almost angelic) singing of "the year 2000," and 2) I get frantic texts from my wife saying that I need to turn off my cellular data, I'm the biggest data hog in the family, and a reminder that downloading the podcast directly to my phone is a perfectly acceptable option.
Disco does have the voice of an angel..doesn't he. :)
