I'm planning a trip to the Winds in late July next year and was wondering for that time of year what fly selection would you bring? I have read the Caddis, Muddler, and Scud are good choices, but what colors? What else works up there? We plan to fish in the Wall lake area so mostly at 10K or so.
Any general attractor – Adams, Wulff, Trude – ought to work well. The fish don't see many fakes and their season is short, making them very eager eaters.
