I know the ladies of BPL already know how to pee outside, but unfortunately we all have women in our lives who avoid the outdoors because of their fear of going to the bathroom outdoors.
I created this little video to help these women learn how to enjoy the outdoors without fear. If you have a, daughter, wife, niece, or girlfriend… watch and learn, then send it to them for their benefit. :)
Jun 18, 2015 at 11:31 am #2208283That was good. I was glad she got to the LNT part. All that TP you find laying unburied is from women and this makes me very angry.
Jun 18, 2015 at 1:57 pm #2208317I agree with Piper about the LNT mention… but I've been using my own "touchless pee" no-TP method for years. No need for 360o privacy, almost standing, and I've never once peed on my clothes! But to each, her own! YPMV (yup, your pee may vary). :^D
Jun 18, 2015 at 3:40 pm #2208336Shouldn't that be PYOP?
Jun 18, 2015 at 10:21 pm #2208405There would be something very wrong if you weren't PYOPing!

Do explain. "Touchless pee"??
Most of the time I just squat and hose myself off with water. If necessary (like I don't want to drip dry), I will dry off with a bandana.
Jun 19, 2015 at 7:37 am #2208445Sorry, could not help it ;)

Hahahahahahahaha! Love it!
Jun 19, 2015 at 10:34 am #2208492So if a female mountain lion drinks water on the trail as a guy, does she have a special technique to do a cat pee, Kat P.? Have you caught that on your camera? Just wondering…we guys don't know much about this stuff.

Tough question Gary….
This is all I can say about that
Jun 19, 2015 at 12:12 pm #2208511It looks rather "touchless" to me.
Jun 23, 2015 at 9:30 pm #2209524Touchless pee?
I don't get it! Sounds like it would come in handy. Please explain!
Jun 24, 2015 at 7:22 am #2209597actually, peeing isn't the hard part, what you really have to think about is how to poop.
(sorry if i offend anyone with my vocabulary, I am dutch and don't 'feel' the language like english speaking persons do).Christy Rosander has a great item on her blog about it, how to pack and pack out the toilet paper.

For me personally the hardest part is finding the privacy and not feeling rushed by my hiking partners to get going to be able to do it at all, but that's a girl thing….
too much information?
sorry folks!Jul 14, 2015 at 5:52 pm #2214715I can pee as a girl too but it does look rather silly when I do it.
