Something I didn't learn until later in life. Having a good work ethic is great, and there's nothing wrong with busting your hump to get ahead in life, but I've over-committed to things before and found that it cluttered my life and my quality of life suffered.

Over-committing is a quick way to build mental clutter, for sure. It's definitely something that's easier to prevent than it is to fix. Thankfully life is in constant flux so if you're not happy with something, it will most certainly change if any energy is allotted to it. :)
