Those skis have an appalling amount of sidecut – for touring skis. You would be struggling to shove the nose through the snow at any speed. One wobble and you would be turning at right angles. And those HUGE boots…
Yeah, I am used to lighter XC ski gear, and straight Nordic skis. Oh well. Snow in Oz is dying anyhow.
Geez those cuben abrasion patches are a poor idea. I generally like cuben, but abrasion is it's worst aspect. It's not a material you add in to high abrasion spots.
