    @10-7

    This article has been out for a couple weeks and I'm surprised that it hasn't been discussed here. So surprised that I won't be surprised that to no surprise my google fu has once again failed me and it's here and I just missed it.

    I'm inspired by the fact that they used an alcohol stove to melt snow and I'm emboldened to try that at some point in the future.

    As a warm sleeper, I've debated just using a synthetic over-quilt over my MBULSS#3 instead of buying a winter sleeping bag. Looks like that worked well for them here.

    Google "fu"? That's a feature I'll have to check out. There have been posts about this epic journey. Here's a link that has their complete gear list that was posted by Serge Giacetti a while back.
