    Phillip–

    I really like this idea. I am a stomach and side sleeper due to some apnea issues and have had a hard time figuring out a good quilt attachment setup.

    Would you be fearful that the shock cord will rub/cut into the neoair? It looks like there is tension there. Instead of the glowire, what about using 1/2" grosgrain ribbon that wraps around the edge of the pad, then the same shockcord/attatchment?

    I am skeptical that any damage would result from the current incarnation of my straps, but you could absolutely use ribbon unstead.

    On a related note, I did order a set of the UGQ pad straps with their t-head quilt anchors. The plastic anchors are very small and did not hold the loops on my quilt well at all, and the plastic has very sharp edges and small points that I was concerned about in regards to pad damage. They have, I'm sure, tested their product extensively and so my concerns are likely unfounded, but since they are so small and the toggles I used hold my quilt loops so much better, I'm sticking with my system for now.
