Got some time to spare, drop on by bplite.com and watch how a member makes wool felt slippers from the wool grown on his ranch. Churro is the members name. When you see his goat and learn the genetics of it you'll know why his name is Churro

    Quote from google:

The fine undercoat of the muskox is called qiviut (kiv-ee-ute) in the Eskimo language, which is translated as "down" or "underwool". Qiviut is naturally a soft grayish-brown color, and is one of the warmest and most luxurious fibers in the world.

Eight times warmer than wool and finer than cashmere

It makes great string silencers for your bow also. As such, one of the selling points is water resistance..

That's awesome…I was amazed to see the versatility of Qiviut. Did you read the story about the Alaskan guide and the long johns that his mom made?

I resurrected my "Bear Kodiak Magnum" this winter and will go to the local archery club come spring, join and start field practicing for this fall's hunt (back yard)I've been away from it too long.

I have not seen that, but Churro's wool shoes look mighty warm. I can only imagine how sweet a pair of long johns must be.
I love old bows…It is amazing how long they are still shootable. I still have my dads 1961 Grizzy and it shoots great.
