Blister packaging of pharmaceuticals is far superior in all respects. (All but eliminates overdose by young children and the packaging doesn’t have to be bullet proof. Toddlers lose interest very quickly. They may manage to press through and ingest a tablet or two.) However, there are some countries where blister packaging of pharmaceuticals is not routine.
