    Hi all,

Does anyone have any good sources for 1/4-inch CCF for use in backpack hipbelts and shoulder straps and other miscellaneous gear? I’ve gotten my 3/8″ foam from Quest and I like it, but I’d also like to test some 1/4-inch for some other applications where 3/8-inch isn’t needed. I’ve seen some 1/4-inch (mostly sheets) online but I’m not sure how to evaluate them quality-wise and they seem to be pretty expensive.

I really don’t want to take a 3/8-inch thick piece to my surface planar to knock it down to 1/4-inch (yes… I’ve tried… it obviously doesn’t come out as smooth as the original surface).

Also don’t want to spend $40 on a 1/4-inch Gossamer Gear pad to cut it up for smaller pieces.

    Any good sources? 1/8-inch too?

Specifically, 2lb cross linked polyethylene 1/4″ is what I am currently using for shoulder straps.
