I’ve got a couple of those skeletonized Buck Paklite knifes and they’re not wrong – far lighter than more hunting knives. And more than enough for a caribou or bear (but rather small for Bowhead).
But a Little Vicky is half the price, half the weight and IME everyone reaches for it before the Buck Paklite knives.
As a UL, semi-survival knife with which one might carve wood or carefully baton wood, the Paklite knife is much more substantial than the Little Vicky and if it got anyone to leave a Rambo knife at home, that would save a lot of weight.
