    @jojoreha

    Any ladies out there that can suggest a very lightweight merino wool hoodie? Really tough finding something under 200 g/m2.

    I would have said Rab Merino + but they seem to have discontinued it.   Take a look at Duckworth.  I have their Men’s Snorkel Hoodie that is nice and thin and they did have a women’s version.   Voormi also has the River Run hoodie and though I don’t have one, it’s supposed to be VERY light.

    Patagonia Air Hoodie is the wife’s favorite in the Michigan climate.

    I love my women’s Duckworth Vapor Snorkel hoodie.  It’s lightweight (150 gsm), breathable and has held up well to a lot of trips.  It’s also easy to ventilate, with the neck zipper.  It’s worked well in the southeastern Appalachians and in the northern Rocky Mountains.

    Thanks for the suggestions. Duckworth and Voormi look good, weightwise. Now I just need to wait for availability…

    87% Merino Wool 13% Nylon

    17.5M Merino wool

    I have the men’s version, works well as a sun hoody or base layer in cooler temps.
