    worked great for getting all the bugs out of my tarptent…just opened the door and then used my insoles to herd the bugs right out. also good for swatting some of the ones that wanted to stay. good item to use that you will already have with you.

    Maybe the smell of them can be used as bug-deterrent as well.

    by the weekend gear swap will be flooded with slightly used almost like new Cuben fly swatters

    personally I prefer the gas powered leaf blower that I built in 3rd grade and carried on multiple expeditions in my backyard.

    On short hikes/expeditions (in my backyard) I like to bring along my big, fluffy kitty cat "Mr Bibbels". Oh he likes to swat at those pesky flying insects in our kitty kamp with his fluffy wuffy kitty paws, it's just the darndest thing.
