I’d like to do some more Winter camping and need snow gear. If you’re not using yours I can give it a good home!

  1. Size 12 WIDE boots. Insulation is nice to have. Expected temps will be as low as 10-20 degrees with highs in the 40s. Should be suitable for traction devices like micro spikes, crampons, or snow shoes. A large toe box / Wide width is needed! No narrow or ‘regular’ boots please. Size 12.5 might work with thick socks too. The ObozBridger 8″ Insulated Waterproof Wide Boots or similar would be ideal.
  2. Microspikes, lighter is better while remaining functional
  3. A cheap ice axe for fall arresting. Wont be needed very often, but there are a couple slide areas that definitely benefit from an axe insurance policy
  4. UL Insulated mittens like the EE Torrid Mits. Size Large or XL (medium-large man hands). Not sure how I feel about flip tops.
  5. Tall snow gaiters. Cheaper is better as I dont expect them to be used a lot.
