I bought this poncho new to use on my AT thru hike attempt.   I tried it for one rainy day in the neighborhood, and though it worked very well, I chose to go a different direction. It is in new condition without the tags. It’s the 15d version of the poncho.  It is a size medium, and it weighs 11 ounces.  I am currently home recovering from an injury sustained on the AT, though I will be heading back to the trail on May 13 and will have to close this listing at thy time since I will not be availble to complete the sale after that time.

The Packa combines the benefits of a rain jacket/pack cover and poncho and eliminates the drawbacks of each. The Packa is placed on the pack as a pack-cover only at first and the jacket section is donned when needed without removing your pack. Huge pit vents, pocket, and dual separating front zipper all function properly and efficiently because they are not under your backpack shoulder straps, sternum strap and waist belt. The Packa is worn over your backpack rather than under it. This creates the airspace needed for proper ventilation.
