Down top quilt, which was used exclusively in a hammock. This quilt has a slit in the middle of the quilt (called a β€œhead hole” by JRB), that closes with omni tape. It allows the quilt to be used like a serape around camp. The bottom can be made into a foot box, using omni tape which runs 20” up from bottom. There is a drawcord/cord locks to cinch the bottom closed and a snap to secure the top of the onmi tape. The top can be closed using a snap to connect the two sides of the quilt and an drawcord/cord lock combo to adjust tightness. There are two grosgrain loops sewn to each side to use for securing to a sleeping pad, is quilt is used on the ground. To note, the quilt was never used as serape or with a sleeping pad, so I cannot attest to how good these functions actually work. Most of my camping with this quilt was between 25-35F and it performed well at these temperatures. Quilt was stored in a large cotton bag indoors when not in use. When used it was packed in the stuff sack it came with, a compression sack was never used.
