Used, condition – VERY GOOD

I used this 8 nights in the Brooks Range of Alaska last summer and it is a spacious, bomber, mosquito-proof, and user friendly shelter to set up and use.  This is my favorite fully enclosed, 1-person shelter I have ever used and I’ve tested a lot over the last 20+ years.  I am doing a gear closet cleaning and if I can scrounge enough funds I want to buy the DCF version of this shelter. This is the silnylon model. 5mm abrasion tear on stuff sack only.

Website: The X-Mid 1 has been developed from the first principles of geometry to achieve the most weight efficient, simple to use, and stormworthy design for a trekking pole shelter. The result is a double wall tent that is incredibly user friendly, capable and spacious while weighing just 25 oz (720 g). As a result, it has become one of the most awarded tents in recent years including awards for best tent from The Trek, Outdoor Gear Lab, Section Hiker and numerous other respected outlets.

My kitchen scale reads: 29.7 oz (842g) with the extra guy lines I added for Alaska conditions
