Excellent mat in like new condition. I’m normally a hammock-camper but I bought this mat and a tent (REI Half Dome 2 Plus) specifically for one trip – the TransAmerica Trail bicycle route. I chose this mat after testing almost literally every mat available on the North American market. Comfort was my highest priority, and this mat was easily the most comfortable for me (I am a side sleeper and sleep very cold). As I was on a bicycle, the extra weight and volume of this pad were not an issue, over choosing an ultralight pad. However, if I was to use a tent again for hiking, this would still be the pad I would use, as it was so much better than anything else I tried.
Both the tent and the mat were used about 10 times over the past two months. I only camped in fair conditions, and stayed in hotels the rest of the nights, so the tent only saw some light rain once (it performed perfectly of course). Both items were purchased at REI at the end of March, so are still under warranty for a long time and can also be taken back to REI for an immediate exchange or replacement. A copy of the receipt can be provided.
The mat comes with the Exped Schnozzel Pump Bag, which comes with the mat when purchased, as well as the repair kit, but NOT the stuff sack. All items are in like new condition, and clean and free from stains or blemishes.
