    @tammons

    I used to know this but now have forgotten.

    IE if I am 6′-2″ how much should I add to the overall length?

    Seems like I used to add 6″ for a drawcord footbox.

    Sure would be great if we had a wiki on this site for stuff like this :)

    Not a quilt, but a full length/zip sleeping bag.  I am also 6’2″ and iirc total length for my MYOG bag somewhere between 84″ and 86″, something like that.  You’d think this bag would’ve went past my head by about a foot, but instead it barely covers my head.

    I’m thinking about converting it to a quilt; I’ll do a post when I do.  I don’t think I’ll lose that much in length since I won’t really be building in a footbox (I’ll taper the bottom half and simply add a drawstring to cinch close).

    I used the following measurements for a “dubber” style topquilt (Sewn footbox, you need to resize accordingly) I’m 6’1 and it feels like a palace for me. I’m sure it would work great for someone 6’2 as well.

    Cheers,
