Tyvek for Big Agnes Fly Creek 2?

The Fly Creeks are known to be a little thin and fragile. Would a Tyvek do just as good of a job vs the footprint? I have never used Tyvek

yes. I use it with my fly creek. I like it better than the footprint, even.
