To make the Fly Creek UL1 "more freestanding"

I’m sure someone has already figured this out, but you can easily use a trekking pole at the foot end of the Fly Creek UL1 in place of stakes:
There’s a little loop near the fly buckle that can be brought down over the trekking pole and hooked to the end of the tent pole:
I attached the tent/fly stakeouts on the right side to the peg at the top of my pacerpole, but regular trekking pole users should be able to find a way to attach to theirs as well… perhaps a velcro strap.
Inside, the foot area of the tent is nice and taut:
