Back in 2014 we took a 4-day 82 mile walk in the city of San Francisco. We’ve repeated that route three more times and added another 27 miles. We love it. We finally organized all the information to share as a route guide for others who wish to try it out all at once or in sections.

I’m always amazed at what can be put together for urban hikes and the geographical reach. I’m only 6 miles from the city center, which is nothing for a day hike and the “trails” are pretty good, not to mention the trailside rest stops with a beverage of choice :) There is the option to hike out and bus back, really doubling my reach.
