Yes you are correct we are updating our site so while we are doing that its down for maintenance. I wish people listen to the whole story. In requards to our quality our reviews for our products speak for them selves. I can post screen shoot of reviews for our products over the last few months. We have a company that is well respected in the industry thats doing the shell of our quilts, for you to say that its not good quality then its a slap in their face as well. ( OUT OF RESPECT FOR THE COMPANY I WANT MAKE THE COMPANY KNOW) All I CAN do is to continue to make things better for you the customer, to improve on things that need to be improved on. Whats improntant is stating the facts and thats why i choose to take a screen shoot of the most recent reviews that on our website to show what others are saying about our products. I will not quilt making backpacking gear, rather i will learn from those that are saying things to make it better for the next customer. If we aren’t shipping products as people are claiming then why did i pay my UPS Bill yesterday for over 2200.00. I would just love to get past the drama and make quality and afforadable gear. Yes I have made mistakes but we have learned from them and our hope is that people will see that and give us a chance. In life we all have made mistakes but what we do about the mistakes is what defines us as a person samething in business. Hi Shane, here’s my unsolicited advice as a cottage gear builder, someone who has worked in the service industry for a long time and a long time contributor to this community.
Stop taking orders until you have made every single customer you wronged via WHATEVER circumstances an amends.
We’re hearing again and again that you haven’t.
Stop making excuses.
Stop trying to defend yourself with broken logic and horrible grammar.
Be humbled, take a step back.
If you’re going to continue to blunder along this path without understanding that you’ve done wrong, you will crash and burn.

Fact 1. I ordered an under quilt in mid November.
Fact 2. It hadn’t arrived by December 4 so you said you remade it and it left on the 5th.
Fact 3. After asking you for tracking info for weeks I finally get a response on the 27th. You said you just got back in the office but now you claim you were still on vacation. Your response was “I’ll look into it”. I guess you still are.
Fact 4. I got a number from UPS customer service for the replacement quilt. It shows it as having never shipped.
Fact 5. I asked for refund. No response.
I can produce plenty of “screen shoots” of people your ripped off and then went radio silent on. 3 or so recent reviews cant erase the plenty of others including myself that have been robbed and ignored.Jan 6, 2018 at 8:16 pm #3511087

This thread has been very educational for both sides.
Any review made by a person who I have no idea what their expectations, knowledge, relationship, actual usage, etc. I don’t pay attention to. Why would I?Everyone has an opinion. Even crazy people.
Nathan gives good advice. Take it, back away from the keyboard and just concentrate on putting out the fires from people who have given you money. The forums can wait and will correct themselves if you act accordingly.

LOL…he posts an image of 3 people who have nice things to say about him? Would that be the people he gave free gear to, to review his products? Or the friends/family of his girlfriend? For the record, here is a screenshot, taken just now, of how many people gave him 1 star, vs. the 5 star reviews (several of which I know for a fact are fake, and are friends/family).
The lies this man has told are very well known. He has owed me money since July, and in preparing for the lawsuit I intend to file, I have been in personal contact with over 20 people, who say that he owes them product/money, dating back several months. There are several people who have filed complaints against him, with both the Maryland and Pennsylvania State Attorney Generals offices, (since he has now used 4 different addresses in 2 states). Order from him at your own risk, but he has been kicked off of several forums/boards, for his dishonesty, and has even screwed over other gear manufacturers. Do your research.
Oh…and Shane/Shannon/Wolf Mtn Gear – we are not going away. We are going to continue to be vocal about what you have done to us.

Regarding his “site down for maintenance” repeated times – I am a web developer, and very familiar with BigCommerce, (the shopping cart/website application he uses).
There is absolutely no reason to take down a full site and place it in maintenance mode. No real store does that. Any product or category can be “unpublished” in a single click, and any change can easily be made to the store without putting it in maintenance mode.
But….you might have to take down your site while you find another payment provider, (he has gone through 2 I know of) because of all the fraud charges/chargebacks.Jan 8, 2018 at 12:37 am #3511241

You’ve now decided that i don’t qualify for a refund because my quilt is not returnable. So why did you accept the return and promise me a refund? Aside from the fact that you promised me a refund in many emails, the fact is that my “custom” quilt wasn’t actually made to the agreed upon size specs.
You sir, are shady and dishonest. You should be ashamed to call yourself Christian.

What happened to the quilt shell I paid for that you posted and messaged me on Jan 5th saying it was picked up for shipment? You know the one that you promised to send after your holiday vacation. You will not provide me a tracking number, a package has not arrived, you refuse to refund my money, and you will not respond to my messages.

As an fyi – many people are filing complaints with the Pennsylvania and Maryland State Attorney General’s office, (since he has now used 5 different addresses, in 2 states). And please file a complaint with the FTC. Shannon is committing wire fraud across state lines. FTC can’t get you a refund, but if enough people file complaints, they will have to investigate the fraud.
