I am selling my modified WM Alpinlite and going to a quilt. I bought this on gear swap and love it. The original owner had the hood professionally removed. The draft collar is still in place. Whoever he had do it did a remarkably good job because it looks like it was made that way. I do not like being cinched into a sleeping bag hood so this worked great for me. It is the 6’ version. Last year I sent it to WM and had them add down. If anything it is now warmer than a new one. I would put it at about 15 degree. It is in very good shape with no rips, tears or other damage. Not sure what year it was made. I believe it is about 6 years old. $350 shipped within the continental US.Mar 14, 2020 at 7:16 pm #3635933Matt GBPL Member

I am getting it out of my gear locker in the morning. I will post pictures and the weight in the morning. Thanks!Mar 15, 2020 at 10:57 am #3635999Mar 15, 2020 at 10:57 am #3636000Mar 15, 2020 at 10:58 am #3636001Mar 15, 2020 at 10:59 am #3636002Mar 15, 2020 at 11:01 am #3636003Mar 15, 2020 at 11:06 am #3636005
A couple of additions to the description: WM added a bunch of down! The weight is 39 ounces. That would push the warmth down to at least 10 degrees. I took a picture of the stitching at the top. It is hard to see, but the stitching is not as factory perfect looking as I thought. 100% reliable but not the perfect straight line WM would do. I am also going to drop the price to $325 even though I am already having seller’s remorse!Mar 15, 2020 at 11:08 am #3636006
Forgot…also comes with a new Zpacks stuff sack. Weight is with the stuff sack.Mar 15, 2020 at 2:01 pm #3636032Paul TBPL Member
If I didn’t already have a WM bag close to yours, I might be interested. Since your bag has a full length zipper, you can flip it zipper side down and leave the zipper down and use it like a quilt. Your bag is not that much different than a FF Flicker, just a few ounces heavier and a lot warmer. When it’s wam, leave the zipper most of the way down and close it as needed.Mar 15, 2020 at 2:24 pm #3636035
Thanks Paul. They are amazing bags.Mar 17, 2020 at 2:23 pm #3636373Luke RBPL Member
Looks like a cool setup for a hybrid system (quilt/bag). Is the bag still available?
If so, would you mind measuring the loft? Which Zpacks stuff sack comes with it?
Thanks!Mar 17, 2020 at 3:11 pm #3636384
It is still available. I have a new Zpacks stuff sack (size large) that I bought for it but have not used yet. I would ship it in that stuff sack. I believe the stuff sack was $25 when I bought it. I will measure the loft when I get home tonight. Thanks.Mar 17, 2020 at 7:11 pm #3636453
<span style=”-webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);”>the loft was 7” at the foot and middle. It went up to 8” at the head.</span>Mar 17, 2020 at 10:59 pm #3636513
